Performance Opportunities

Dance Without Limits provides numerous performance opportunities for our students throughout the dance season. Participation in all of these performances is optional. However, we strongly encourage all of our students to participate, as dance is a performing art and meant to be seen by and shared with audiences! We believe performing boosts confidence in our dancers, gives them the opportunity to be part of a team, and encourages them to work towards a goal in class. Performance is the reward for hard work in the classroom! (Not to mention the fact that it’s super fun!)

We have two annual Showcases performed each year. Our Winter Showcase occurs at the end of our Fall Semester and is typically during the first week in December. Our Spring Showcase occurs at the end of our Spring Semester and is typically the first week in June. Both Showcases are held at Furman University. All of our dance classes participate in both Showcases, with the exception of Twinkle Baby and Me.

For each Showcase, your student will receive a performance costume, performance tights, a video of the performance, and action photos of the performance. Additional tickets may be purchased online prior to the show.

We also frequently do performances for our community. These can include but are not limited to local parades, festivals, TV appearances, and performances for local nursing homes and community groups.

Performance Team

The Dance Without Limits Performance Team is for kids who love to dance and are craving more time in front of an audience. This is not a competitive team, but simply an opportunity for dancers who want to participate in more than our two Showcases per year. They will be learning two 30-minute shows and one parade performance. They will then take these shows and perform them at various local events throughout the year.
